Tillman Picnic

Friday afternoon I took the kids to Tillman for their end of the year picnic. We dined on McDonald's outside and then Coyle enjoyed playing on the playground with all the big kids and getting soaked by the water fountain. He was so sad when it was time to go home. He wanted to stay and paint (his favorite activity at Dad's school).

First Zoo Visit of the Year!

Friday afternoon we made our first visit to the zoo of the year. We had to try out the brand new Hampton Ave overpass over 40, and I must say the roundabout at Wells/Hampton is super nice and will really help the traffic flow. We rode the train around the zoo (Coyle called it "Tom") saw some bears and penguins and then listened to some music for the Jungle Boogie event. All in all, a fun afternoon.

The girls just happened to be wearing very similar outfits today so I snapped this shot of them playing on the floor. I think it's pretty cute and funny how they're even posing alike.
