On the Mend

Everyone one seems to be feeling much better this week. We went to the doctor's again today to check on Coyle's ears which have still been bothering him, but Dr. Finn said they're healing, which is great news! We're excited for Halloween this weekend and hoping for nicer weather. We've been rained out of our usual Halloween activities this week, Boo at the Zoo and the Tillman Halloween parade!

Bella is walking the majority of the time now, although she reverts to crawling when she's in a hurry!

We miss Jocelyn!

Jocelyn has been out this week sick, and we miss her! Get well soon!!

Well, I think the kids are finally on the mend. They're still not feeling the greatest, but both were fever free today!

Curious Coyle

Here's a recent picture of Coyle that shows his inventiveness to get into places that he's not supposed to be.

Coyle felt a little bit better today, but now poor Bella is sick. She had so much trouble sleeping last night, had a fever of 102 this morning and was digging in her ear so we took her into the doctor this morning. She has an ear infection in her left ear; the doctor said there's actually a blister on her ear drum :-( Poor baby! Let's hope we start feeling better around here!

Poor Coyle's fever got worse this morning so we headed to the doctor's office. Turns out not only does he have the flu, he also is suffering from a really bad ear infection. Poor kid! Hopefully the antibiotics will help soon. Here's a picture from our Thomas Train adventure that I forgot to post(a day when he was feeling MUCH better).

Pirate Pumpkin

Thanks Aunt Pam for the super cool Mr. Potato Head Pirate Kit. Clay and Coyle had a fun time Monday evening making their pirate pumpkin out of our Huber's pumpkin. Coyle wasn't super cooperative for the photo because the sun was really bright and in his eyes.

Coyle is still under the weather today. We're really hoping he starts feeling better soon. He won't be going to preschool tomorrow; it'll be his first absence :-(

Sick Coyle and Walking Bella!

Well, poor Coyle is a bit under the weather today. He's got a fever, runny nose and cough. He spent most of the day watching Scooby Doo and Go Diego Go. This picture is from a few weeks ago. He was sitting on the sofa watching tv wearing his Army helmet and wearing no pants. Crazy kid!

Bella is officially a walker! She's been gaining her confidence the past week or so, but today she walked all over the house from room to room. She just smiled and sang a little song as she walked. You could tell she was so proud of herself!!

Day Out With Thomas!

This morning we drove over to Granite City, IL to ride on Thomas the Train. It was a gorgeous day, but the grounds were a muddy mess. Coyle had a really good time. He rode on a mini train that kept getting stuck in the mud and had fun playing with the trucks on the sand table. Bella enjoyed watching all the people.

Halloween Time!

Sunday we decorated for Halloween. Coyle loved it, of course. The boys painted a pumpkin for our front porch; they had fun doing that outside. That night Coyle was so excited to light up all our decorations once it got dark!

Eleven Months Already!

-take up to 6 independent steps

-say "Mama"

-loves to dance to any kind of music

-loves playing with balls, she is really good at catching balls rolled to her
