Easter

We spent Easter weekend in Kentucky and had a great time!Look at my haul!

Nashville

We loved Nashville! We enjoyed exploring The District and couldn't get over all the live music.
On the way out of town, we had to stop by "Antique Archaeology" from the tv show "American Pickers. Bella just kept asking, "Where the junk guys at?" She was disappointed they weren't there.
It was a wonderful trip! No one was ready to go home!

Last day Camping

We got in one more hike near our campground at Elkmont before driving to Nashville. This trail was awesome because we met no other humans on it!

Clingman's Dome

Looking south into North Carolina.
At the end of the trail, there is a long circular ramp that takes you up to an observation tower.

Later that day we drove through the park to the NC/TN state line and hiked one mile up to the highest peak in the park, Clingman's Dome. It's just shy of 6,600 feet. It was a really clear day and we could see all the way to Pigeon Forge, TN about 20 miles north. Amazing Views!!
