First Hockey Game

Over Spring Break, Clay took Coyle to his first Blues game! They both had such a fun time! They rode Metrolink downtown, and Coyle ate an entire big soft pretzel! They stayed for the entire game. Coyle has been telling everyone about the game, the bad guys the Blues beat, the food and the fights.

This morning Coyle had his 4 yr. well check-up at the doctor. He's doing well and growing like crazy!
42 1/8 inches tall (86%)

Birthday-Part 2

Coyle's "Police Birthday" continued with the Lego Duplo Police Station. He was so excited and surprised he ran around the living room and collapsed on the sofa. It was too cute for words; I wish I had video.Checking out his Oreo Ice Cream Cake with Imaginext Police Motorcycle on top. Coyle helped me make the cake.

Coyle's Birthday Part 1

Birthday boy wearing the hat he picked out in Kansas City.

Coyle was very excited by his new bike. He didn't think he would get one because they are very "pensive."

VIP Police Tour

Sitting in the police car-how cool!Sitting on the police motorcycle-wow, it's big!
With Officer Cox after our tour.

Bella hopped right on that big motorcycle.

We won a VIP tour of the Kirkwood Police Station last month at the Tillman Trivia Night. We set it up for this morning and surprised Coyle with it since he has been wanting a "police birthday." He was very excited!

Spring Break in Kansas City

Wonderscope Children's Museum in Shawnee, KS

We visited Kansas City last weekend and had a blast! We enjoyed our hotel and did lots of swimming! Bella, especially, was so excited to swim. We didn't take too many pictures. All of the pics are from the fun kids' museum. We shopped at American Girl and ate at a really fun and tasty restaurant called Fritz's. Trains delivered your food to you via overhead tracks. It was really cool and both kids were fascinated by it!

Ice Skating

With Mr. Andy
Bella was bummed she couldn't skate. She tried to walk right out onto the ice and loved watching the big girls "dance" on the ice!
Learning to fall and get up.

Last Friday Coyle had his first ice skating class. He was so scared to try it, even thought it was completely his idea. (He wants to play hockey, but needs to learn to skate first). It took some poking and prodding but he did really well. When he wasn't thinking about it, he could walk around with no problem at all on the skates. He learned to walk on skates, march holding on with hand and how to fall down and get back up.

Cupcakes

Last week Coyle wanted to make some sugar cookies and decorate them. I convinced him to help me make cupcakes instead, and we had a blast! He was the official decorator with a range of sprinkles to top them with. Bella had no interest in our baking until the very end when she could come sample! Both kids are funny, for the most part they only eat the frosting and sprinkles off the top!
