Polar Express-Pt. 1

Yesterday we drove about 3 hours to Monticello, IL to ride The Polar Express! It was an amazing experience! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. We couldn't get over how much all these people put into the ride. They danced, sang, served hot chocolate and cookies, read the story..... We had visits by the hobo, the conductor punched the kids' initials in their golden tickets, and Santa visited and gave the kids a bell. The train went to the North Pole to pick up Santa and they had "wolves" along the tracks just like in the story. We had so much fun!!

Bella loved it! She was ringing her bell that Santa gave her, singing, cheering and dancing in her seat. We think this was her most favorite day of her life, so far.

Dress-up Day

Last week both kiddos decided to dress up and stay that way all day long! Bella was a princess, of course. Coyle was a firefighter. He stayed in his fireman pjs all day and added accessories. He used a hairband as his mask (see pic below) and a slinkly for his flashlight (it was hooked to his clothes by bungee cord). They had a fun day!

Happy 2nd Birthday Jossy!

Jossy's birthday is tomorrow, but we celebrated today with a little party for her!

Birthday Girl!

My mom gave her this fairy costume, and Bella loved it! She didn't want to take it off.



Bella celebrated her second birthday with a Princess Dora party. Bella thoroughly enjoyed herself! She walked around saying "birbay" all day! She was obsessed with her cake and kept trying to drag chairs over to the counter to climb up and get some early. It's so cute, when you ask her how old she is, she says "two" but only holds up 1 finger :-)
